Alexander Gelman merges disciplines of design with film, fine art and interactive media. His work is housed in the permanent collections of MoMA, Cooper Hewitt Museum, and Bibliotheque National de France. As founder of Design Machine, he consults for such brands as Absolut, MTV, Pepsi and Shiseido. Gelman's first book, Subtraction: Aspects of Essential Design was published in 2000.
Nic Musolino studies and writes about the intersection of market and creative economies. His interrogations include practicing as a designer and architect, operating a gallery, managing various creative businesses, and developing unique venues for critical practice. He is currently based in New York and pseudonymously participates in several online journals.
Helen Walters moved to New York from London in 2002, where she is the editor-in-chief of the online creative magazine, idanda.net. She was previously a features editor for Creative Review magazine in the UK, she is currently its contributing editor. Helen is the author of 100% Cotton: T-Shirt Graphics and co-author, with Liz Faber, of Animation Unlimited: Innovative Short Films since 1940.
